Total Solar Eclipse

On August 21, 2017, a total solar eclipse will cross the continental United States from Salem, Oregon, Hopkinsville, Kentucky and to Charleston, South Carolina.

This is the first time since August 7, 1869 that Kentucky has experienced a total eclipse.  The next one will not happen for another 395 years.

Jessamine County will experience a partial eclipse with 95.3% obstruction of the sun around 2:25PM and it will last only a couple of minutes.
